Other people have been making these so I thought I'd join in too, here goes nothing:

Besides being a great place to post art and receive valuable feedback and criticism, Newgrounds has proven to be so much more than that. Especially with all the events and collaborations that I was able to participate in! And even though I've only been here for a few months, all of you lovely people have made them some of the raddest months of recent memory!

Aight sappy stuff out of the way, here's some notable things that I enjoyed from this year:

One of the first community-centric things I ever did was my wall art submission for the Summerfest! I remember I only had around seven fans at the time, which is why it meant so much to see my art along with all the other incredible submissions featured in the wallpaper rotation! That entire event was so much fun, big ups to Stanpai, LilSpook and the rest of the NG Fest staff!!

The first animation I ever posted on NG was my submission for round two of the Summer Animation Jams!! The other rounds were fun too, but I wanted to highlight round two specifically because of how much I enjoyed making my movie and seeing what everyone else had put together. To this day my round two submission is probably my favorite thing I've ever made! Huge thanks to BrandyBuizel for hosting the Summer Jams!

Some other things I really enjoyed participating in this year were some of the numerous art contests hosted on the site! Most notably the submissions I made for the Pod-Chan art contest and the more recent Rumble Reveal art contest, both of which I really enjoyed making. It was super fun to go outside my comfort zone and try something new! I can't wait to join more in the future!

And last but not least, one of the things that I enjoyed the most was meeting and interacting with so many amazing people! This little portion goes out to all of the people I have talked to/collaborated with, you guys are all so awesome!! The two collabs that come to mind are the P3n0rween Collab and the Get Well Soon Collab! Both of which have to do with Piconjo lmao but they were still super fun! Hopefully in 2022 I'll be able to participate in more collabs, and meet even more of you lovely people!!
